Politics of Economics

Economics it the art of distributing resources to accomplish goals. Politics is an attempt by people to live together. Therefore, politics has an interest in economics, since this is one way to accomplish the goal of people living together.

Too often, though, people, and politicians (as if they weren't people) view economic "laws" as absolute, when they are really not. That is, the economy is a man made invention, and as such can be altered to accomplish whatever people want to accomplish. But with a caution.

That is, Communism was into altering the economic system for the "good of the people." The problem is that Communism forgot that people are people. Therefore, their philosophy said that there had to be an initial stage where the economy, and therefore the people, had to have a strong central control. What they forgot is that once a government assumes a particular power, it usually keeps it. Therefore, they became caught in the "strong central control" stage lasted until the government collapsed.

The United States also messes with the economy. For one thing, the government has become so big that it is like the bull in the china shop. The government makes a decision, and the entire economy must change to accommodate the government. This is what this part of my WEB presence is about.
