I was born in 1947, in Red Wing, Minnesota. Since then I have lived in Wisconsin, Iowa, Washington, Missouri, Texas, North Dakota, and now Kansas. I have also lived in Oregon and Ohio for summer breaks while in College. Another way of looking at it is that I have lived as a student, a paperboy, a lawn mowing specialist (impressive way of saying I mowed lawns for money), a cannery worker, professional student, Junior High teacher, a computer programmer, a custodian, a University Professor, and more. I even worked driving truck (for two days) and in a tree nursery (for one day). My haying carreer was cut short as well when it was discovered I was alergic to hay. This has made for a wide variety of experiences, and the writing in this section details some of the memories that I have of these experiences. |
