RBS Bank

I've had a problem with RBS Bank. In particular, I had a balance on my credit card with their bank. Due to a mixup at my bank: that is, my bank deposited my check in someone else's account. It took a while to get this straightened out, so that the payment to RBS was a bit late.

I called RBS, and was assured that if I paid the late fee that that would be the end of the problem. That was last month (May, 2007). However, I discovered that this month they decided to start charging me exceptionally high interest on my account. I called RSB, and was told that they "couldn't do anything about it."

This is a warning to anyone who might want to do business with this bank.
